Better late than …. February Garden Notes are now posted.

A good month to plant leafy greens, broccoli and its relatives, root crops like beet, carrot, parsnip. Try my seed soaking technique. Growing plants from (non hybrid) seed is much preferable to buying seedlings for many reasons. It’s also easy, just a matter of time and timing.

Also see this flyer on a new disease detected in Melbourne gardens – Myrtle Rust. I was sent this info from a couple of sources, let’s hope it doesn’t spread……
