If you aren’t spending some of Easter admiring the autumnal glory of others’ gardens, then you should be in your own, digging, planting and enjoying the season. It’s a perfect time to be out in the garden and neccessary if you want to be feeding yourself through the colder months.
It’s also a good time to apply the biodynamic preparations over the next couple of months – we put out our first BD500 for the year last Friday, and planted a bed of garlic whilst the preparation stirred through the flowform for an hour.
So, think about feeding the soil, taking cuttings of herbs, sowing sweet peas and poppies, making compost … Go to the the April planting notes to see what, when and how …. And enjoy one of the best times of year in the garden.
