A Mecca Meal

Thanks again to Charlotte Duckett, sister Georgina, along with Julie Patey and the many helpers who helped to create another magical dinner at the garden. This year we even have proof! Garden supporter and diner Mark Hennessy took these fabulous shots.

Even though it has been a very dry summer and autumn, our garden – with table settings and food – was certainly more oasis than Saharan desert. Thanks also to local producers who augmented the local garden harvest, including Liz Sardone (Werona Grove – olive oil), Jenny and Andrew Fawcett (Powlett Hill – flour), Ron Snep and Julia Elkin (Welshmans’ Reef Winery – verjuice), The Food Garden, and Newstead Butchers.
